Dues! Brethren: around 3/4 of our dues-paying members have not yet paid 2026 dues. We will be sending our annual capitation check to Grand Lodge after this meeting of around $4300 - the Lodge has to pay $55 for each of our members, which will be most of that amount.

This means that if you have not yet paid, the Lodge will have to take money out of its funds to pay your dues. It also means that much of the money the lodge has raised through our fundraisers - and the hard work of many members - will be going to pay your dues. Think about that for a minute.

Dues are $127.00 per year and are due January 1st each year. Payment may be mailed to the lodge address: P. O. Box 144, Providence Forge VA 23140, or you can just give me a check at a meeting.

Dates of all the upcoming fundraisers for the entire year (as well as lots of other good information) can be found at the Lodge website, which can found by clicking here.

Our Grand Lodge has a new membership system, Grandview. You may access the Grandview system to view and update your Masonic information by clicking here.

Worshipful Masters Remarks

Greetings, Brethren,

Busy! Busy! Busy!

We completed our Sausage Runs this last month. 720 pounds on the first run and 420 pounds on the second run. On each run, we had a good turnout. Each run was started and completed in ONE day. Thanks to ALL who came out to assist. Details will be presented by Brother Glenn Fisher at our stated meeting. The sausage is sold out.

Our Brunswick Stew was completed on March 7 with half going to the Methodist Church in Charles City and half to Mann Page. Approx. 20 quarts are still available.

We have been notified that a Birthday celebration for Mrs. Howard Gammon will be held at the recreation Center in Providence Forge on March 21 from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. Please come out to wish her a Happy 90th (3-18) Birthday. We have been informed that gifts were not required; however, she does enjoy a scratch-off lottery ticket now and then. Please wear a Lodge Shirt if you can.

We now have 4 obligated Entered Apprentices completed and ready for their Catechism. If you are available to assist, please contact me at 915-256-1305.

Our first blood drive for New Year was held on Tuesday the 10th. Thanks to all members of the Lodge who attended.

Our April stated meeting will be held at MAHOVA, please make plans, this is always a well-received meeting.

Thank you for your support.

Worshipful Thom Martin
