Dues are $127.00 per year and are due January 1st each year. Payment may be mailed to the lodge address: P. O. Box 144, Providence Forge VA 23140, or you can just give me a check at a meeting.

Worshipful Master's Remarks

 

Greetings, Brethren,

 

Hope this finds all well.



First of all, we received notice that we have lost one our members. Brother Donnie Austin Hardaway peacefully passed away on June 19, 2026. He was currently residing in Riverview, Florida.

 

I don’t know if you have noticed, but the Magnolia tree next to the lodge has been removed. This will eliminate the Magnolia leaf mess that we all have endured. Thanks to Brother Glen Fisher for the coordination, and to Wells Tree Service for their professional workmanship. Also anyone needing some FREE firewood, the oak tree at the old lodge location has also been cut down.

 

We raised our newest MM on July the 13th, Miguel Lickliter. It was a great and special evening with his father (Brother Mike Lickliter) assisting. Also, a special shout-out to Brother Jimmy Burton for his flawless work on the MM Degree and Lecture.

 

We assisted Proclaiming Grace to help setting up their furniture for the weekly sale. Thanks to all who helped.

 

We had our annual Fish Fry on June 27th at the Lodge, it turned out well. If you missed this one, you missed out.

 

With schools out for the summer, its time to start thinking about our yearly school supply donations. We contribute to the four local elementary schools. In the past we have asked to bring in school supplies to the lodge, (this works well) however, we will also set up a donation box so that you do not have to shop for the supplies- we will do it for you.

 

We are ready to get the next thee MM degrees on the board, we need an open discussion to get this on the calendar.

 

Brother Wes Coston has donated shelving for the outdoor shed. To assist in reorganizing the shed, we will need a work crew of at least 5-6 members.

 

If you are a Past Master and do not have your picture on the Past Masters wall-----its time!
